Bir\u00e7ok \u00f6zellik kapat\u0131l\u0131r ve ATC&#8217;nin telefonlar\u0131 kesilir. Radar ekran\u0131n\u0131n tazeleme h\u0131z\u0131 d\u00fc\u015fer ve en \u00f6nemlisi 2 u\u00e7a\u011f\u0131n \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fma rotas\u0131na girmesi durumunda uyar\u0131 veren sistem kapat\u0131l\u0131r. \u0130ki ki\u015finin kullanmas\u0131 gereken monit\u00f6rlere tek ki\u015fi bakar ve kaza an\u0131nda kontrol\u00f6r 2 monit\u00f6rden 3 u\u00e7a\u011f\u0131 takip edip birisine ini\u015f talimatlar\u0131 vermektedir. Y\u00fck\u00fcn\u00fc azaltmak isteyen kontrol\u00f6r u\u00e7aklar\u0131 kuleye ba\u011flamak ister ama telefonu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in bunu yapamaz. U\u00e7aklar\u0131n \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fma rotas\u0131nda oldu\u011funu ilk ba\u015fta alman hava kontrol\u00f6rleri fark eder fakat telefonlar kapal\u0131 oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in \u0130svi\u00e7re&#8217;ye ba\u011flanamazlar. \u0130svi\u00e7reli hava kontrol\u00f6r\u00fc \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fmaya saniyeler kala durumu fark eder, TCAS&#8217;\u0131n alarm\u0131n\u0131 duymad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in Rus u\u00e7a\u011f\u0131na TCAS&#8217;\u0131n uyar\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n tersine al\u00e7alma komutu verir. Halbuki TCAS Rus u\u00e7a\u011f\u0131na t\u0131rmanma, DHL u\u00e7a\u011f\u0131na al\u00e7alma komutu vermi\u015fti. Rus pilotlar TCAS yerine kontrol\u00f6r\u00fcn dedi\u011fini yaparlar ve her iki u\u00e7ak birbirinden ka\u00e7mak yerine al\u00e7alarak \u00e7arp\u0131\u015f\u0131rlar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kaza sonras\u0131 \u00f6nceli\u011fin TCAS&#8217;in mi yoksa ATC&#8217;nin mi oldu\u011fu hakk\u0131nda b\u00fcy\u00fck tart\u0131\u015fmalar \u00e7\u0131kar. Kaza sonras\u0131 ATC Peter Nielsen ciddi psikolojik travma ge\u00e7irir. 2 y\u0131l sonra, kazada iki \u00e7ocu\u011funu ve e\u015fini kaybeden Rus mimar Vitaly Kaloev Nielsen&#8217;i b\u0131\u00e7aklayarak \u00f6ld\u00fcr\u00fcr. Tutuklanan mimar 3 y\u0131l sonra psikolojik sebepten su\u00e7u i\u015fledi\u011fi i\u00e7in serbest b\u0131rak\u0131l\u0131r.
