U\u00e7akta 63 yolcu ve 5 m\u00fcrettebat bulunuyordu. Elindeki oyuncak ay\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n i\u00e7inde bomba oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyen korsan, Cezayir\u2019deki olaylar\u0131 protesto etti\u011fini s\u00f6yl\u00fcyor ve \u0130ran\u2019a gitmek istiyordu. Ellerinde b\u0131\u00e7ak ve bomba oldu\u011funu \u00f6ne s\u00fcrd\u00fckleri po\u015fet bulunan 2 korsan kokpit kap\u0131s\u0131na dayand\u0131. Ancak \u015fifreli kap\u0131y\u0131 a\u00e7amayan korsanlar hostesleri rehin al\u0131p tehdit etti. Arap\u00e7a konu\u015fan ve El Kaide \u00fcyesi olduklar\u0131 belirlenen korsanlar, ABD`yi protesto etmek ve Filistin davas\u0131 i\u00e7in bu eylemi yapt\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yledi. Pilotlar, yak\u0131t ikmali gerek\u00e7esiyle u\u00e7a\u011f\u0131 Antalya Havaalan\u0131`na indirdi.Ya\u015fanan karga\u015fada baz\u0131 yolcular u\u00e7a\u011f\u0131n arka kap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7arak ka\u00e7maya ba\u015flad\u0131. 4 hostes ile 2 yolcu u\u00e7akta kald\u0131. Bu s\u0131rada pilotlar da kokpit camlar\u0131ndan atlayarak hostesler ve yolcular\u0131 korsanlarla ba\u015f ba\u015fa b\u0131rakt\u0131 ve tarihe ge\u00e7ti; Atlas Jet\u2019te ya\u015fanan bu olay \u201c<strong>ATLA Jet olay\u0131<\/strong>\u201d bi\u00e7iminde alay konusu oldu. \u00d6zel timin operasyon yapaca\u011f\u0131 s\u0131rada korsanlar\u0131n teslim olmas\u0131yla macera bitti\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; <strong>21 Ekim 2009:<\/strong> M\u0131s\u0131r Havayollar\u0131\u2019n\u0131n \u0130stanbul-Kahire seferini yapan Boeing 737 tipi u\u00e7ak 87 yolcusuyla saat 20.35\u2032de havaland\u0131ktan bir s\u00fcre sonra sarho\u015f oldu\u011fu anla\u015f\u0131lan bir Sudanl\u0131 yolcu taraf\u0131ndan \u201cKud\u00fcs\u2019\u00fc kurtarmak i\u00e7in\u201d ka\u00e7\u0131r\u0131lmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131ld\u0131.
