Ocak 1950-Aral\u0131k 1992 aras\u0131ndaki 43 y\u0131ll\u0131k d\u00f6nemde g\u00f6rev yapan 7362 ki\u015fiden, \u00f6lm\u00fc\u015f olan 719 u\u00e7ucunun hastal\u0131k, \u00f6l\u00fcm ve ya\u015fam beklentisi skorlar\u0131, \u0130ngiltere\u2019deki u\u00e7ucu olmayan erkek pop\u00fclasyon ile kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Kanada Havayolu \u015eirketinde 1950-1988 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda g\u00f6rev yapan 891 pilottan \u00f6lm\u00fc\u015f bulunan 71\u2019inin \u00f6l\u00fcm nedenleri s\u0131ralamas\u0131nda, kalp-damar hastal\u0131klar\u0131 ve kanser olgular\u0131 ilk s\u0131ralar\u0131 alm\u0131\u015f, kanser tipi s\u0131ralamas\u0131nda ise Melanoma, Hodgkin, l\u00f6semi, prostat, rektum-kolon, beyin, testis, akci\u011fer kanseri daha s\u0131k g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. \u0130zlanda, Norve\u00e7, \u0130sve\u00e7, Danimarka ve Bulgaristan\u2019da da askeri ve sivil kesimde u\u00e7an erkek ve bayan u\u00e7ucularda kanser olgular\u0131 de\u011ferlendirmeye al\u0131nm\u0131\u015f, sonu\u00e7lar\u0131 hi\u00e7bir komplekse kap\u0131lmadan yay\u0131nlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Astronotlar\u0131n kanser riskinin de kontrol grubundan y\u00fcksek \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">U\u00e7u\u015fta kanser riskini artt\u0131ran nedenler<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1960\u2019lara gelinceye kadar ticari havayolu u\u00e7aklar\u0131 rutin u\u00e7u\u015flar\u0131nda y\u00fcksek irtifalara \u00e7\u0131kmazlard\u0131. U\u00e7ak teknolojisindeki geli\u015fmeler ve s\u00fcrat gereksinimi, son 40 y\u0131lda y\u00fcksek irtifada uzun menzilli u\u00e7u\u015flar\u0131 zorunlu k\u0131lm\u0131\u015f, bu ko\u015fullarda g\u00f6rev yapan u\u00e7u\u015f m\u00fcrettebat\u0131 da ister istemez d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck dozlu kozmik radyasyona uzun s\u00fcrelerle maruz kal\u0131r olmu\u015ftur. U\u00e7u\u015f aletlerinin yayd\u0131\u011f\u0131 elektromanyetik dalgalar, ultraviyole \u0131\u015f\u0131nlar\u0131, ozon gaz\u0131, jet yak\u0131t\u0131 emisyonu (\u00f6zellikle benzen) ve u\u00e7a\u011f\u0131n yap\u0131 elemanlar\u0131ndan buharla\u015fan kimyasallar da, uzun s\u00fcre\u00e7te u\u00e7ucular i\u00e7in bilinen veya bilinmeyen zararlar\u0131n nedenleri aras\u0131nda say\u0131lmaktad\u0131rlar.
